Alex Sato has been with The Center since 2014 when it was a seven-person team. Now, as Deputy Executive Director, Sato helped guide the organization as it grew into a sixty-plus person team.

Alex directly oversees the agency’s contracts, grants, and finances. She helped drive the funding and installation of the on-site clinic that operates in partnership with Saban Community Clinic. In addition to services currently offered, in 2020, Alex and the team operated a 100-person Project Roomkey site as part of the state-wide initiative as a response to COVID-19.

Holding a Master of Public Administration from Cal State LA, Alex continues to study the impacts of company culture and organization structure on organization performance. She is currently completing the Certified Management Accountant program through The Association of Accountants and Financial Professionals in Business.
