Remembrance Garden Fundraiser: September 2021

Thank you to Rose Hills Farm for hosting our Remembrance Garden Fundraiser! We raised nearly $2,000 to help us kickstart the Remembrance Garden.

Join Rose Hills Farm and The Center in Hollywood for a night of wine, cheese, garden sunsets, and fundraising!  The Center’s Legacy Committee is hoping to raise $3,000 to build a Remembrance Garden.

The Garden will provide unhoused neighbors, loved ones, and staff a safe space to grieve and celebrate a person’s life. Participants become part of our Center community and when a person passes it deeply impacts all of us. With no home, no door to shut, no bedroom to quietly grieve in – this re-imagined garden will offer participants the opportunity to reflect without distraction which is hard to do when living on the street. Surplus funds raised will go towards items for the garden and maintenance, and ongoing programs providing support for grief groups, memorial events, and more. Thank you!
