Our Vision: The Center envisions an equitable world where the power of community prioritizes the health, housing, and dignity of every person.
Our Mission: The Center’s mission is to break the cycle of homelessness through radical hospitality, creating safe and supportive communities.
Our History: Our headquarters has a long-standing tradition of social justice efforts dating back to the 1920s. A strong sense of community and dedication to service have always been integral to The Center's rich history.
The Center's roots trace back to the Blessed Sacrament Parish community in Hollywood. It is housed in a former convent constructed in the mid-1920s, where the Sisters of the Immaculate Heart of Mary once resided.
A strong sense of community and dedication to service have always been fundamental to The Center's identity as an organization. Building on this enduring tradition, The Center has fostered an atmosphere of radical hospitality over the years, warmly welcoming everyone who enters.
