Hiking for The Center Can Reunite Families
Every year a new tide of individuals leave home because of the lure of “Hollywood” only to become homeless on the streets of Los Angeles. For $500 you can help reunite 50 of those souls with their families – that’s only 20 friends, family members or co-workers donating $25 each.
Starting a fundraiser is easy to do, and it’s fun. We’ll even give you all the tools you’ll need to make a difference. With your help, you can do something to help end homelessness in our city.
Ways to Get Involved
- Hike and fundraise – Even though we’re reaching for that stretch goal of $500/hiker, we’d love for you to participate at whatever level you can. Make you own fundraising goal when you register.
- Hike and pay your way – If you want to participate in the hike but not the fundraising portion, you can register for the amount of $25 or more and donate to your own page.
- Don’t hike and donate to hikers – If you’re not in town or just want to brighten someone’s day, go to the registration page and donate to someone’s fundraising campaign!
The hike will be easy for any fitness level so anyone can participate. There will be a special surprise for persons who make it to the Hollywood Sign. We won’t tell you what it is but keep an eye on this space for clues!
